Madeleine Bjørnestad Røed

Founder and CEO

Madeleine Bjørnestad Røed is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Stack by me.

She brings more than 12 years of experience from the financial services industry, including roles as an Equity Partner at Pareto Securities and later leading relationships with UK-based institutional and fund clients for Pareto Asset Management.

Throughout her career, Madeleine has combined entrepreneurial thinking with execution inside established organizations. During her time at Pareto, she played a key role in several growth initiatives, including the establishment of the firm's Paris office, the development of its Private Equity team, and the expansion of its UK operations.

Madeleine holds a double Master's degree in Finance and International Management from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).

Driven by a passion for financial inclusion and wealth creation, she founded Stack by me with the vision of making investing more accessible, engaging, and intuitive for the next generation of investors.

James tandy

Chief Technology Officer

James Tandy joined Stack by me as Chief Technology Officer in March 2023 and brings more than two decades of experience as a software developer, technology leader, and startup CTO.

Over the course of his career, he has built and scaled technology products across multiple industries, with particular expertise in consumer-facing applications, financial technology, and cryptocurrency platforms. He was also involved in the early stages of the music streaming platform TIDAL during its formative growth phase.

As a full-stack engineer, James combines deep technical expertise with extensive experience building scalable digital products. At Stack by me, he leads the company's technology strategy, product architecture, and platform development, ensuring the business is equipped to scale efficiently across new markets, products, and user segments.

His experience in building high-growth technology platforms and complex financial applications plays a key role in supporting Stack by me's long-term vision of becoming a leading next-generation investment platform.

Rebecca koskinen

Country Manager Sverige

Rebecca Koskinen serves as Country Manager and CEO of Stack by me Sweden, bringing extensive experience in scaling fintech platforms within highly regulated financial markets.

Prior to joining Stack by me, Rebecca held senior leadership positions at Fondo, including Chief Operating Officer and Head of Product, where she played a key role in building and commercializing both B2B and B2C investment solutions. She also led major regulatory initiatives covering AML, MiFID, GDPR, and DORA compliance, while establishing strategic partnerships to support the company's growth.

Rebecca's background spans both the public and private sectors, with previous experience at EY, the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen), and Nordea. This combination of regulatory, operational, and commercial expertise provides a strong foundation for leading Stack by me's expansion in Sweden.

She holds a Master's degree in Economics from Uppsala University and is certified through both SwedSec and InsureSec, reflecting her deep expertise in financial services and investment markets.

At Stack by me, Rebecca is responsible for driving the company's Swedish growth strategy, local market expansion, regulatory framework, and commercial development.

In addition to the executive leadership team, Stack by me has an in-house software developer, an operations and administration resource, and two part-time employees. In total, the company currently employs five full-time team members.

To complement its internal capabilities, Stack by me works with a network of specialized external partners across software development, website management, design, marketing, and finance. The company also utilizes external consultants for growth marketing initiatives and CFO services, enabling access to senior expertise while maintaining a lean and capital-efficient organization.

As the business continues to scale, Stack by me is strengthening its operational infrastructure. The company is currently recruiting an operations-focused team member for its Larvik office, with responsibility for improving workflows, increasing automation, and enhancing operational efficiency across the organization.

In parallel, Stack plans to recruit a Co-CTO to further accelerate product development, strengthen technical leadership, and support the continued expansion of the platform's technology capabilities.

This combination of a lean core team, specialist external partners, and targeted strategic hires provides the flexibility needed to scale efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on product innovation and customer growth.
